Ramadhan Vibes

Ramadhan Vibes

Ramadhan is special and comes with a special energy. The environment, people, and feelings all feel different. One might think about what they could do to be better prepared for this blessed month and all the beauties that come with it from the enhanced spiritual level and added layers of worship. To what this worship will bring about in the human body and mind. All the Mawlawi Kurdish Cultural Centre family come together to eat iftar under one roof every evening and pray shoulder to shoulder standing before God as one body, mind and soul.

Besides the delicious food, amazing voices calling to prayer, fabulous Quran recitations during the prayers and beautiful congregation of people united in hearts from various nationalities, creeds, sects, and identities all believing in One God and his prophets.

As usual, the masjid is now offering two Taraweh prayers and two Ishaa prayers per evening to accommodate the crowded environment and ensure that everyone gets a chance to pray.

Children are always welcome as long as they are supervised, and every evening of Ramadhan at Mawlawi Kurdish Cultural Centre/ Masjid Sheikh Raouf Barzinji is equivalent to a big play day for all the children accompanied to the masjid.
